Stephanie

Executive Director

Stephanie comes to CATCH with 16 years of experience working to end homelessness in the Treasure Valley. She is a licensed Master’s level Social Worker. She is passionate about bridging divides, helping people see the human in one another, and making the Treasure Valley a place where everyone belongs. Outside of work, you can find Stephanie spending time with friends or family, hiking or reading.

Taisha

Deputy Director

Taisha serves as CATCH's Deputy Director, where she collaborates with the Executive Director to oversee day-to-day operations, secure and manage program funding, and implement strategic initiatives. A proud Boise native, Taisha pursued higher education on the East Coast, earning her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland and her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. With over eight years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Taisha brings a deep commitment to advancing housing as a human right and using data-driven storytelling to amplify the voices of those CATCH serves. She is committed to ensuring that CATCH's work has a lasting impact on the community while supporting a collaborative and positive organizational culture. Outside the office, Taisha enjoys jogging along the Greenbelt, immersing herself in fantasy novels, and spending time with her family, friends, and energetic German Shepherd mix, Apollo.

Ryan

Director of Development

Ryan brings invaluable experience in nonprofit development, most recently overseeing fundraising for a West Coast organization that provided millions of meals annually to families facing food insecurity. We're honored to have him join our team, where he'll lead our fundraising and engagement efforts to advance CATCH's vision of ending homelessness in Southwest Idaho.

Aaron

Operations Specialist

Aaron supports every department to ensure CATCH runs as smoothly, efficiently, and effectively as possible. He was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, and has always been passionate about helping people. Aaron attended Borah High School and College of Western Idaho to pursue a career in Nursing for two years before taking a break during the pandemic. He plans to return to school in the fall of 2024 to change his major to Social Work and finish his degree. He has spent the last five years working in technology and decided to change his career path due to an overwhelming feeling of unfulfillment and an unwavering desire to assist those experiencing homelessness. Aaron believes that every person and family deserves a safe place to call home and hopes working for CATCH will teach him valuable skills and allow him to learn the ropes of the nonprofit sector. He dreams of starting a nonprofit to continue the good fight and serve those in vulnerable communities. Aaron is a musician and enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, longboarding, PC gaming, and binge-watching television shows and movies with his significant other Taylor, and their dog Gus.

Sarah

Development Associate

Sarah serves CATCH as a Development Associate, supporting the Development Operations team and fundraising efforts through data management, donor communications, and more. Sarah's interest in all things human led to the completion of a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Boise State University. Her thesis focused on the bioarchaeological analysis of health, socioeconomics, and migration. She strives to apply this knowledge of the past in support of CATCH’s present mission. Outside of CATCH, Sarah enjoys a wide variety of hobbies. Her favorites include creating digital and physical paintings, baking treats, playing board games with friends, and taking her pair of rescue dogs on hiking adventures.

Garrett

Communications Manager

Garrett serves as Communications Manager for CATCH through People First Communications, driven by his passion to end homelessness in the Treasure Valley and beyond. He previously served as CATCH's Director of Development for nearly two years before moving to Europe, and has maintained his connection to CATCH by serving as Interim Director of Development and providing ongoing communications and development support. Garrett is Co-Founder and Lead Strategist of People First Communications, a small family business dedicated to amplifying nonprofits addressing housing insecurity through people-centered storytelling and sustainable fundraising. He has led campaigns securing over $3 million for nonprofits and specializes in building sustaining donor programs. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Garrett previously served as Training and Programs Manager with the Idaho Nonprofit Center. He earned his master's degree from the London School of Economics and two bachelor's degrees from Washington State University. He enjoys reading, travel, and working through his ever-growing bucket list.

Rosie

OPH Connect Program Director

Rosie comes to CATCH with a passion for helping others and several years in the housing and social services field. She believes everyone deserves to be seen and heard, especially in times of need and crisis. She enjoys seeing people recognize their worth and achieve their goals along their journeys. Rosie has experience with many nonprofits and has helped families and individuals at all stages of their lives. Rosie enjoys spending time with her son and family, reading, exploring new places, cooking, skincare, and playing with makeup.

Amanda

Region III Access Point Director

Amanda acts as Catch's Access Point Program Director, bringing her expertise with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and 17 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. With a dedicated focus on ending homelessness and serving diverse populations, Amanda is deeply committed to making meaningful contributions to communities facing social, economic, and behavioral health barriers. Starting her career in street outreach and having the privilege of working closely with transitional aged youth, families, and individuals exiting incarceration she has witnessed the benefits of supportive resources, trauma-informed care, and Housing First. Amanda has considerable experience with program development and leadership valuing the importance of change, growth, and learning. She believes in leveraging team expertise to craft innovative solutions to address social challenges and empower individuals to thrive. Outside of work, Amanda finds joy in camping, attending concerts, and embarking on long bike rides on the Greenbelt. Her adventurous spirit fuels her enthusiasm for exploring new places and experiences.

Connor

Outreach Team Lead

Connor serves as the Outreach Team Lead at CATCH. Connor earned his Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia. His experience ranges from youth and leadership development to Case Management and Employment Coordination of diverse populations throughout the Treasure Valley. Connor sees working with those experiencing homelessness as a tangible investment in his community. He believes communities are more prosperous when intentional efforts advocate for those members of our communities who are at their most vulnerable.

Alex

InReach Program Manager

Alex serves as the Inreach Program Manager, leading efforts to connect individuals with comprehensive support services through compassionate and respectful care coordination. With a background rooted in mental health, this role draws on extensive experience supporting individuals facing complex psychological challenges and focuses on building systems that prioritize dignity, access, and fairness. Holding a bachelor's degree in Psychology and currently pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Alex is dedicated to fostering environments where every voice is heard and interdisciplinary collaboration can thrive. Outside of work, favorite activities include running and hiking in the foothills, spending time with family, caring for five pets, diving into true crime, and rewatching The Office as a superfan.

Maddy

Outreach Program Specialist

Maddy serves as an Outreach Program Specialist at CATCH. This means she meets people in the community who are experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness to provide and connect individuals to an array of different resources. She deeply values the relationships built with the people she engages with and the privilege of hearing each person's story that is shared with her. Before CATCH, she volunteered at the Corpus Christi day shelter where she had the opportunity to connect and cultivate relationships with people who she now gets to work more in-depth with. Maddy received her Bachelor's in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Minnesota. She previously worked with youth both as a YMCA camp counselor and in high schools to develop their personal stories. She enjoys chilling with her two cats and laughing at them as they go wild when she gives them catnip (she has many videos if you ever want to see any).

Kym

Outreach Program Specialist

Kymberlie (Kym) works as an Outreach Worker for CATCH. Her role is to connect with folks who are experiencing homelessness to assess each individual's unique situation and then provide them with befitting and available resources within the community. Kym has over 13 years of recovery behind her and is passionate about investing in the lives of others and living a purposeful and impactful life. As a recovering drug addict, she has lived experience with all that comes with addiction, homelessness, and loss. She relishes the idea of giving back and being a source of hope, encouragement, and help to anyone experiencing homelessness and the overwhelming feelings that accompany such tragedy. Kym earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in corrections and counseling. She also is certified in Intensive Behavioral Intervention and Peer Support.

Hillary

Street Outreach Worker

Hillary comes to CATCH with lived experience of homelessness, addiction, and working with vulnerable communities. She worked for Ada County Treatment Courts for over five years, and maintains a certification as a Peer Support Specialist. Hillary is passionate about helping others and sharing that anything is possible. Outside of work, you can find Hillary spending time with family and her friends, with her pups, and doing anything to promote self-care.

Ush

Street Outreach Worker

Ush Shamim is a compassionate and dedicated Outreach Worker, the team that provides vital services to individuals in the community. With extensive experience working with individuals experiencing severe mental illnesses and refugees, Ush is deeply committed to offering support and resources to those who need it most. Known for exceptional listening skills and ability to approach each individual with empathy, Ush prioritizes seeing the human first, before their situation. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree at a young age, Ush brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to the role. Outside of work, Ush is passionate about miniatures, cats, and Legos- hobbies that reflect a deep attention to detail and creative spirit.

Daniella

Client Support Specialist

Daniella serves as the Client Support Specialist for CATCH. Since earning her Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations from Boise State in 2014, Daniella has remained committed to leveraging her passion for community growth, both professionally and personally. Her deep affection for Boise and the residents of the Treasure Valley shines through in every interaction she has. With each encounter, Daniella strives to make individuals feel seen, heard, and validated. Driven by her desire to uplift and support others, Daniella approaches her role at CATCH with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm. She believes in the power of building strong relationships and actively contributes to fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Outside of her professional pursuits, Daniella enjoys exploring the outdoors with her new rescue pup.

Adilene

Housing Resource Specialist

Adilene serves as the Housing Resource Specialist for Region 3 at Access Point. Her career path has always centered around caring for others. Making a positive impact has been a driving force throughout her working years. She was drawn to CATCH’s mission to end homelessness in the Treasure Valley and is incredibly passionate about the statement: Everyone needs a home. Adilene is from Southern California, has lived in North Dakota, and moved to Idaho during the summer of 2023. As someone with an adventurous spirit, one of her goals is to visit all 50 states. Outside of work, Adilene loves to cook, travel, swim, thrift, and enjoy games like billiards and darts. Her life is a blend of compassion, service, and adventure.

Keyra

Housing Support Specialist

Keyra Heath is a Housing Support Specialist at CATCH, bringing over four years of experience in education and the arts. With a strong background in community outreach and program development, Keyra has honed her ability to understand and address the unique needs of individuals and families facing various challenges. She is deeply passionate about finding innovative and creative solutions that not only meet immediate housing needs but also support long-term stability and well-being for those in the community. Her approach combines empathy, strategic thinking, and a commitment to social impact. Outside of work, Keyra is an avid painter, enjoys participating in a book club, and loves unwinding with a cozy episode of The Great British Baking Show. These activities help her stay grounded and inspired, fueling her creativity and love for connecting with others.

Jeremy

Ada County Taking Root Director

Jeremy has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in addiction studies. He completed a dual-emphasis master’s degree in counseling; focusing on school counseling and addictions counseling. He has over fifteen years of experience working with individuals who have addictions, mental health issues, and behavioral issues. He had the privilege of working in multiple levels of care, ranging from detoxification services and residential treatment to outpatient care. He has considerable experience building professional relationships, training staff, educating new professionals, and managing stress related to working with individuals and families with addictions/mental health issues. He has over five years of experience as an adjunct professor at Boise State University to assist in the development of addiction professionals, specifically teaching clinical assessment and case management skills to students with the goal of working with individuals with substance use disorders. His extensive training in clinical supervision has led to the development of two outpatient programs. He also has comprehensive training in motivational interviewing, in which he developed skills for working with resistance and building off of individual strengths.

Betsy

Region 3 Programs Director

Betsy serves as Region 3 Taking Root Program Director. Betsy earned her Bachelor's degree from Northwest Nazarene University in 2013 and worked for the next seven years with several organizations that help people experiencing homelessness, including the Salvation Army, Hayes House, and the City of Boise. From 2019 to 2021 she also worked with survivors of domestic violence at the Nampa Family Justice Center. In 2020, Betsy earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University. In June of 2021, Betsy returned to her first passion of working in housing by joining CATCH. Her heart has always been drawn to those on the margin of society, reaching those who others won’t. She is driven by justice and the understanding that everyone has their own story. Betsy enjoys swimming, camping, walking her dogs, and going for drives with her family. Most nights she can be found listening to a story, binge-watching a favorite show, or crafting.

Sarah

Clinical Director/Therapist

Sarah serves as the clinical director and therapist for the Taking Root Program, providing therapeutic services in both Ada County and Canyon County. She holds a Master’s degree in social work from Northwest Nazarene University, and brings a wealth of experience working with children and families in both therapeutic and educational settings. Sarah is dedicated to using evidence-based best practices and a human - first approach to empower individuals. She firmly believes that each person possesses unique strengths and deserves dignity and respect in all aspects of their lives. Through her compassionate and client-centered approach, Sarah strives to create a supportive environment where individuals and families can thrive. When she is not at work, Sarah likes to spend time with her family and her dog enjoying all Idaho has to offer.

Jesse

Case Manager

Jesse serves as a Case Manager for the CATCH Taking Root program, a role she is grateful to have held for the past 10 years. Jesse earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Boise State University, and since graduating, has worked in the housing and employment arena. At CATCH, Jesse works directly with families to help provide housing stability and believes every person and every family deserves respect and dignity in their journey. She looks forward to continuing her work by empowering families and inspiring others to join the mission. In her spare time, Jesse enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her two Border Collies.

Amanda

Case Manager

Amanda earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Boise State University and has nine years of experience working directly with individuals experiencing homelessness. Her approach to Social Work is rooted in empowerment. Amanda firmly believes that every person, regardless of their circumstances, possesses inherent strengths and deserves respect, dignity, and opportunities for growth. As a CATCH Case Manager, Amanda helps clients address immediate needs such as housing, food, and healthcare and also empowers individuals to regain their independence and rebuild their lives. Amanda remains deeply motivated to continue advocating, supporting, and championing the rights and well-being of individuals experiencing homelessness. Outside of work, you can find her trying to keep up with her children and drinking way too much coffee!

Lauren

Case Manager

Lauren graduated from Boise State University in the spring of 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She has always been passionate about working with and advocating for vulnerable populations. After graduating, Lauren worked at a developmental center assisting children with disabilities. After gaining experience working with people with disabilities, Lauren discovered her passion for housing people experiencing homelessness. When she's not on the clock, Lauren enjoys spending time with her dog, hiking, watching movies, and being with the people she loves. Lauren aspires to earn her Master's in Social Work and broaden her perspective on supporting vulnerable populations in the Boise area.

Daniel

Housing Director

Daniel serves at CATCH as our House Director. He is responsible for building relationships with landlords in Southwest Idaho to support our case managers in securing housing for those experiencing homelessness, as well as engaging developers to secure dedicated units in our community. He comes to CATCH with a background in tech sales for the last four years but has a deep passion for helping those who feel overlooked by society. In 2018, Daniel started a 501(c)(3), Neighbor Idaho, to provide clothing and resources to those experiencing homelessness and to love others with no strings attached. Neighbor Idaho loves collaborating with other local nonprofits, and the opportunity to work for CATCH has been a dream for Daniel. When he’s not working, Daniel loves to spend time with his wife, Lindsey, and their German Shepherd, Boba. He also enjoys playing golf, yelling at the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays, and playing the drums.

Tia

Case Manager

Tia is a Boise native, and a proud resident of Idaho. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University in 2021. While her career initially began in the legal field, Tia discovered her true passion was supporting those in her community. This inspired her to pursue a career in social work, beginning with housing support. She is now a Case Manager with the Taking Root Program in Ada County. Tia is always seeking new adventures and experiences, so when she’s not working you can catch her traveling and attending concerts or festivals.

Chris

Case Manager

Chris Hernandez is a dedicated Case Manager under the Ada County Taking Root program within the CATCH Housing Sector. With a strong professional background spanning Law, Mental/Behavioral Health, and Case Management services, Chris brings a unique blend of expertise to his work. Throughout his career, Chris has focused on leadership development in the legal field, applying practical legal strategies and fostering strong leadership in his teams. His experience also extends to the implementation of mental and behavioral health methodologies tailored for individuals dealing with mental, developmental and physical deficits. Chris is passionate about strategic planning and has played a key role in shaping housing best practices in the Treasure Valley communities, ensuring accessible and sustainable housing solutions for those in need. His combination of legal knowledge and mental health insights allows him to create impactful solutions for the individuals he serves. Originally from Washington State, Chris moved to the Treasure Valley in 2021, calling it one of the best decisions he has ever made. Outside of work, Chris values self-care, engaging in activities such as mental and physical conditioning, martial arts, jogging, hiking and even being an artist in the kitchen practicing his craft in cooking different cuisines as he was formerly a Sous Chef at an Italian restaurant in the Meridian area. He enjoys watching movies, trying out new restaurants, and exploring new and unfamiliar sites in his free time.

Madison

Case Manager

Madison is a dedicated professional with a heart for creating brighter futures. With a strong background in property management and invaluable experience as a case manager at CATCH, she's on a mission to make a difference. Madison's journey began as a compassionate volunteer who provided essential support to those experiencing homelessness in our community. This experience ignited her passion for affordable housing and her belief that everyone deserves a place to call home. There's nothing that brings Madison more joy than helping families find shelter. When she's not making an impact at work, you'll find Madison embracing the great outdoors with her family and trusty doggo, exploring community events, or indulging in a Netflix documentary. Join Madison in her quest to build a stronger, more inclusive community, one home at a time!

Gabby

Case Manager

Gabby began her professional career in education, working in various school settings, and afterwards completed her MS in business administration. Over the past few years she has worked as a victim advocate with Advocates Against Family Violence. She brings her years of experience to her current role at CATCH where she believes safe housing is a basic human right.

Kenzie

PSH Case Manager

Kenzie is the Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager for Region 3 of Idaho. She received her BA in Law from the University of Arizona, where she began her journey in community outreach work. She has engaged in community work as a field organizer, case manager, and community based resource specialist over the past 10 years. Kenzie is a firm believer in transformative social justice, and that housing is a human right that must be protected. Outside of work, she enjoys going hiking with her dog and spending time with her family.

Abby

Behavioral Health Consultant

As a Behavioral Health Consultant on the CATCH Taking Root team in Boise, Abby helps families restore their hope, health, and happiness in housing and life. She is originally from Tacoma, Washington, and earned her Masters in School Counseling from Gonzaga University. Abby was a school counselor in Coeur d'Alene for several years and said the most meaningful aspect of that job was helping students who experienced homelessness. Beginning her work with CATCH in 2012, Abby is one of our longest-serving employees. She has secured stable housing for 100+ families who were experiencing homelessness. Abby loves spending time outdoors, cooking, and with her husband Dave, daughter Ava, and dog Henry.

Kristen

Behavioral Health Consultant

Kristen Donovan serves as a Behavioral Health Consultant at CATCH, where she integrates trauma-informed, person-centered care into housing-focused behavioral health services. With a background in eviction court case management, homelessness diversion, and systems-level coordination, she is committed to supporting individuals and families experiencing housing instability through both direct clinical care and macro-level advocacy. Originally from the East Coast, Kristen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Northwest Nazarene University, with a concentration in Macro Social Work through the Integrated Clinical and Community Practice (ICCP) track. Her work spans the continuum of care—from frontline service delivery to interdisciplinary collaboration—and includes active engagement in legislative advocacy efforts aimed at advancing housing justice and expanding behavioral health access across Idaho. Her practice is grounded in principles of equity, empowerment, and evidence-based policy and practice. Outside of her work at CATCH, Kristen enjoys reading, cooking, watching the Great British Bake-Off, spending time with her husband and their dog Kevin, and exploring all that Idaho has to offer.
